The Financial Times (FT) has released the Masters in Management Ranking 2019. This year, 100 institutes were featured in the FT Masters in Management Rankings 2019. As expected, the European institutions dominated the rankings.
A total of five IIMs secured the place in the Financial Times Master in Management Rankings 2019. IIM Calcutta stands tall at the first position from the country and secured 17th rank globally for its two-year Masters in Business Administration (earlier Post Graduate Programme in Management). It is followed by IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Udaipur and IIM Indore.

IIM Calcutta has improved its ranking compared to previous year when it was at the 23rd rank. It has also taken over IIM Ahmedabad for the top spot in the country. In 2018, IIM Ahmedabad was leading the list by securing 19th rank. IIM Ahmedabad is placed at 21st rank this year. IIM Bangalore pushed to 44th rank (2019) from 26th (2018). IIM Udaipur and IIM Indore are the new Indian institutions in the list.
