CUET PG 2022 Registration Begins Today, Exam To Be Held In July, Check Details


The CUET admissions to postgraduate programmes in 42 central universities will be conducted through a common entrance test for the 2022 academic year, according to the University Grants Commission (UGC).

The application forms for admissions to PG programmes through the common entrance test would be accessible from Thursday, on the National Testing Agency (NTA) website at nta.ac.in, according to UGC chairperson Prof M Jagadesh Kumar. Prof Kumar announced on Twitter that the application window will close on June 18 and that the test will take place in the last week of July.

He tweeted, “Common University Entrance Test (CUET-PG) for post-graduate admissions to be held in last week of July 2022. Application Form submission will start today on NTA website. Programmes details will be available on websites of participating Central Universities & other Universities. Online Application Forms for Postgraduate Programmes will open from 19.05.2022, the link for the same will be made available on the official website cuet.nta.nic.in.”

Meanwhile, the application process for the common university entrance test, which is held to admit students to undergraduate programmes at 44 central universities, is currently open. The test has been adopted by various private and deemed-to-be universities in addition to central universities.

However, over 10.46 lakh candidates have already registered for the CUET-UG. The UG registration application window will close on May 22. The dates for the CUET-UG exam have not yet been released by the UGC.
