During the exam, the best strategy for attempting the Reasoning Ability section is to start with Inequality, Syllogism, Blood Relations and then the rest of the test.
Practice a lot.
Memorise tricks and formulas.
2. Focus on Accuracy
Attempt what you exactly know in the first go. Do not attempt every question to increase the number of attempted questions. Remember, there is a negative marking for each wrong answer. Attempt the questions with consciousness, as you will not be able to go back to the previous section once the allotted time is over, i.e. 20 minutes. Try to solve every question in the first attempt; otherwise, it will consume your time. Do not stick to one question. Move forward, attempt other questions and, if time permits, return to the question you found difficult.
3. Practice a lot
Attempt at least two mock tests every day in the last week. Try to solve 2-3 mock tests every day. It will improve your speed. Solving questions will develop a strategy in your mind that you can use in the examination hall. You will get to know which question you have to attempt first. Set aside ample time to practice the Reasoning Ability section to improve your solving speed and accuracy. Assess your present score by solving topic-wise practice questions using conventional methods.

It is very important to follow the exam pattern. And the best way to do so is to practice the previous year’s question papers. Go through previous years’ questions to understand the kind of questions, pattern and difficulty level. Keep sufficient time in your study plan to practice the previous year’s papers.
